Gettysburg Dance Center has something for everyone, we offer classes and instruction in Classical Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, Lyrical, Pom Cheer, Acro Dance, Pilates, Acting, and Zumba.
At Gettysburg Dance Center we believe our instructors are what set us apart, we consider ourselves not just dance teachers, but dance educators. We are the only dance studio in the area to have three degreed dance educators on staff, and a faculty with degrees in Education and the Arts. Our faculty has a combined teaching experience of over 65 years!
Owner/Executive Director Rachel Smith attained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Shenandoah University, with a focus on choreography and performance, and also attained her Pilates certification through the Pilates Method Alliance. After college Miss Rachel had the opportunity to study and dance with Danco 2, a division of PHILADANCO. The entire team of professional dance educators are dedicated to providing all students with a quality dance instruction in a constructive environment.
Instructors Vicki Brown, and Holly Fox, former director, hold degrees in Dance Performance and Education. Erica Riley holds A Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and has studied dance from childhood through college. Instructor Brienna Waybrant has a degree in Art and instructor Amber Johnson has studied and performed dance for many years. Barb McCormack has a Bachelors degree in Foreign Languages and theatre, and has owned and operated her own dinner theatre and company in the Hagerstown, MD area.
Gettysburg Dance Center's convenient, edge of town location, offers a 6,500 sq. ft.air conditioned facility complete with four spacious studios, a comfortable waiting area, and always plenty of free parking in our adjacent paved lot.

Our Performance Ensemble is now established, which gives students private instruction with the faculty and guest artists, as well as several performance opportunities throughout the surrounding areas.
